Williams Selyem Winery
If you’ve ever been to Williams Selyem Winery in Healdsburg, you’ll know that not only is the wine amazing, the winery itself is a sight to be seen. When I was asked to design for a summer lunch that would take place at the crest of the winery property overlooking the vineyards of the Russian River Valley I just had to go with something understated and fresh. I created a clean, crisp floral arrangement using summer white greens and grey so that nothing distracted from the delicious food, the spectacular wine, and the stunning views of this gorgeous appellation in the heart of the Northern California wine country.
When designing for wineries I never use fragrance but that doesn’t detour or limit my design thanks to options like wild artichokes, succulents, gray berries, and clean traditional hydrangea, which I placed across a yellow-striped runner and farm wood table in this design.
I’m happy to say that William Selyem Winery was one of my very first clients and collaborating with them was, and continues to be, an absolute pleasure.
