Bridget’s 40th birthday celebration at Catelli’s restaurant in Geyserville was one of my favorites. I loved designing this celebration using rich jewel tones. The whole design was about unexpected texture and shapes from the geometric gold vessels to the anemones dancing out of terrarium-like vases. The table decor was an eclectic mix of vignettes using robust seasonal flowers of peonies alongside blue globe thistle, rich coxcomb and feminine gloriosa lilies. I love the way the table scape went with the brightly painted acrylic menus.
