Olivia & Parker – Calistoga Ranch Wedding

Welcome to 2021, sweet friends! Today’s real wedding is truly a palette cleanse for the new year! Olivia and Parker’s Calistoga Ranch wedding was full of soft blue and cream blooms and lots of romantic textures. Not to mention this gorgeous day is also our most recent feature and has been published on Carats & Cake! We know you’re going to love it, so let’s get into the details!

Soft, Organic Wedding Floral Inspiration

Our couple envisioned a classically beautiful color palette of soft blue, creamy whites, and dusty greenery like eucalyptus and dusty miller. We loved the opportunity to create some stunning moments throughout their wedding design to showcase lots of lush blooms and greenery.

Starting with a ceremony site with a truly perfect wine country view. We designed a circular ceremony arch covered in textural greenery with asymmetrical pops of soft white florals and lined the aisle with cream rose petals. This installation perfectly framed Olivia and Parker during their vows.

Then we moved into the reception. We added some real wow-factor with two stunning floral chandeliers over the dance floor. We used beautiful dripping florals like orchids to really add some drama and it set the tone perfectly for dancing into the night!

It is with great sadness that we share this gorgeous venue, Calistoga Ranch, was a victim of the California Wildfires and is no longer operating. Dusty Blue & Cream Reception Styles

If we had to choose, we would definitely have to say the reception design was our favorite detail of the day. We created a gorgeous tablescape design alongside planner, Quintana Events, that turned out so dreamy.

Starting with a base linen of soft blue, we added layers of low arrangements in mixed sizes and vase styles. This is key to create an intimate dinner party vibe. Next, we incorporated some drama and height with our crystal candelabras. They added so much romance to the design and perfectly complimented the chandeliers above.
