Oh my goodness, we have a real wedding to share with you today and it is going to knock your socks off!
Hayley & Cody tied the knot earlier this year after after having to navigate the rescheduling & uncertainty of the pandemic but, wow, was the wait worth it! This bohemian dream wedding was full of warmth, texture, and so much love. Let’s dive in!
Golden Bohemian Wedding Inspiration
Our bride, Hayley, envisioned an effortless, bohemian style for their big day and florals played a large part in creating that aesthetic! From Hayley, “The elements that were the most important were flowers. The arch was the biggest focal along with the rug. We wanted our style to show through with the floral elements.”
We incorporated lots of golden hues and texture with bleached & dried ferns, warm yellow & burnt orange blooms, some really cool, unexpected wild elements.
The absolute show stopped was the ceremony arch. We adorned an industrial-style copper arch with lots of organic blooms bringing in all that color and interest.
Hayley said “Holy cow… that arch was OUT OF THIS WORLD BEAUTIFUL. I really can’t say enough about how much we fell in love with the whole environment!”
Creating Meaningful Wedding Moments
During a time when so many couples are having to make tough decisions and compromise on their dream wedding plans, we have to take a moment to really praise Hayley & Cody for their attitude and determination to make their day special to them, no matter the circumstances.
A full reception wasn’t really in the cards due to restrictions and safety measures, so our couple opted to include their first dance as a part of their ceremony! It ended up being the favorite moment of the day!
We also asked Hayley for some insights & advice for anyone else planning their wedding in this new environment:
“Breath and do what you, as the couple, want to do. Make it your own, find the things that are most important to you and make those couple of things happen. Ours was the first dance. It was incredibly important to us both, so we did something different and included it during the ceremony. Have a team of people who have your back and are ready to make it happen. Be smart and safe and it will be beautiful!”
