Our couple tied the knot at the stunning Chateau St. Jean winery in Kenwood, CA. This venue really does transport you to another place with its French-inspired design and opulent surrounding. We loved bringing our bride’s design to life! She envisioned a day full of romantic, soft, cascading florals, warm golden accents, and a romantic setting that would set the stage for celebrating their love story.
We love the bride’s soft blue dress and how that played into our accents of blue in the florals. For the outdoor ceremony, we let the natural beauty of the vineyard be the star while accenting the entry of the aisle with textural arrangements at mixed heights and accented with lanterns and geometric candle holders for a little golden glow.
Into the reception, we set the tone of an intimate, romantic dinner party with low, trailing floral gardens that cascaded off the tables and really let guests talk and enjoy the evening together. We also love a beautiful place setting moment. We accented the menu and gold flatware with a touch of greenery and blue velvet ribbon to make each space feel extra special.
This wedding is a beautiful example of a varied color palette that still feels very soft and high-end. It’s undeniably stylish. If you’re worried about choosing a lot of colors for your wedding day, consider being inspired by nature and then toning the colors down a bit into more pastels and dusty hues.
